Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**LK@BCCR-FP** is an experimental, orally delivered nanozyme-armored probiotic platform developed for synchronous treatment of ulcerative colitis and sepsis in mouse models. It comprises *Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens* loaded with a boronic acid chitosan-modified nanozyme core and coated with a Fu brick tea polysaccharide prebiotic shell. The platform is designed to localize at inflamed colonic mucosa, scavenge reactive oxygen species, support probiotic viability and colonization, remodel gut microbial and metabolic homeostasis, restore intestinal-barrier integrity, and reduce lipopolysaccharide translocation. In DSS-induced colitis mice, it activated Nrf2-associated antioxidant signaling and reduced p53/caspase-3-associated epithelial apoptosis; in LPS-induced sepsis mice, it reduced systemic inflammatory-metabolic disturbances and extraintestinal organ injury.
