Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of loperamide, a synthetic antidiarrheal medication, and montmorillonite powder, used for managing diarrhea. Loperamide is not significantly absorbed from the gut and has no effect on the adrenergic system or central nervous system. This combination has been studied in relation to pyrotinib-associated diarrhea, though recent findings suggest montmorillonite powder should not be co-administered with pyrotinib due to pharmacokinetic interactions.
