LP-300 + carboplatin + pemetrexed

LP-300 + carboplatin + pemetrexed is an investigational combination therapy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly in never smokers. LP-300 is a disulfide small molecule that acts as a multi-tyrosine kinase receptor inhibitor, affecting EGFR, MET, and ROS1 kinases. It potentiates the activity of chemotherapy agents by modulating oxidative stress, inhibiting angiogenesis, and reducing glutathione and thioredoxin-mediated tumor resistance. The combination has shown promising results in clinical trials, with a clinical benefit rate of 86% and an objective response rate of 43% in never smokers with advanced NSCLC who had progressed on prior tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy.
