Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lu'an Wan is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Beijing Boran Pharmaceutical. Presented as an oral herbal pill, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands (fibrocystic breast changes) and the relief of associated symptoms such as breast pain, distension, and the presence of masses. The formulation is designed according to TCM principles to soothe the liver, regulate Qi, and resolve phlegm to dissipate nodules. As a complex multi-herb mixture, its pharmacological profile likely involves the systemic regulation of endocrine function and improvement of local microcirculation in breast tissue, although specific molecular targets are not defined in conventional pharmacological terms. It is an approved pharmaceutical product in China.
