Overview

Luveltamab tazevibulin + bevacizumab is a combination therapy in which luveltamab tazevibulin (STRO-002) is an antibody-drug conjugate targeting folate receptor alpha, linked to a cytotoxic payload, while bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). The combination potentially augments antitumor activity by combining targeted cytotoxicity (via luveltamab tazevibulin) with antiangiogenesis (via bevacizumab). Bevacizumab is approved for several cancers, including ovarian cancer; luveltamab tazevibulin is under clinical investigation, mainly for ovarian and endometrial cancers. This combination is evaluated for solid tumors expressing folate receptor alpha, especially in gynecologic malignancies.
