LX3305 + methotrexate

LX3305 + methotrexate is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. LX3305 (also known as LX-2931) is an oral small molecule inhibitor targeting sphingosine-1-phosphate lyase, which modulates lymphocyte trafficking and reduces inflammation. Methotrexate is a well-established disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) that inhibits dihydrofolate reductase and other enzymes involved in purine metabolism, leading to immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects. The combination aims to enhance therapeutic efficacy in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis who have an inadequate response to methotrexate alone[1][7][10].
