Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LY011 is an investigational immune cell therapy developed by Shanghai Longyao Biotechnology, utilizing its proprietary T-DC1 (T cell-Dendritic Cell 1) technology platform. This therapy involves T cells that have been genetically engineered to express a chimeric receptor targeting the CD20 antigen (MS4A1), while also incorporating functional elements of dendritic cells to enhance antigen presentation and immune activation. LY011 is primarily designed to treat CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and is being explored for its potential to treat solid tumors. By combining the direct cytotoxic effects of T cells with the ability to stimulate a broader endogenous immune response through 'epitope spreading,' LY011 aims to overcome the challenges of the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, particularly in solid tumor settings.
