Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LY3457263 + dulaglutide is an investigational combination therapy consisting of **LY3457263**, a novel dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, and **dulaglutide**, a GLP-1 receptor agonist. LY3457263 is developed to enhance glycemic control and reduce body weight by targeting both the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor and the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor. Dulaglutide activates the GLP-1 receptor to increase insulin secretion, decrease glucagon levels, and slow gastric emptying. This combination is under clinical evaluation for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics primarily in type 2 diabetes and obesity. Both agents are developed by Eli Lilly, who also markets dulaglutide as Trulicity[1][3][4][5].
