MAGE-A3 A*01:01 TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Anocca. The therapy utilizes patient-derived T cells that are genetically modified to express a specific T-cell receptor (TCR) designed to recognize a peptide from the Melanoma-associated antigen 3 (MAGE-A3) presented by the HLA-A*01:01 molecule. MAGE-A3 is a cancer-testis antigen that is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer, while remaining largely absent in healthy adult tissues. By targeting this specific peptide-HLA complex, the engineered T cells can selectively identify and eliminate malignant cells. The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of MAGE-A3-positive, HLA-A*01:01-positive cancers.
