MAGE-A4 B*07 TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Anocca. It is designed to target the Melanoma-Associated Antigen A4 (MAGE-A4), a cancer-testis antigen that is frequently overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors while remaining largely absent from healthy adult tissues. This specific therapeutic candidate utilizes T cells engineered to express a high-affinity TCR that recognizes a specific MAGE-A4-derived peptide presented on the cell surface by the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) allele B*07. Upon recognition of this peptide-HLA complex, the engineered T cells are activated to exert direct cytotoxic effects against the tumor cells. The therapy is currently being evaluated for the treatment of a wide range of MAGE-A4-positive cancers in patients who carry the HLA-B*07 genotype.
