Overview

MAGE-A4-specific TCR (RenTCR-derived) is a T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Biocytogen using its proprietary RenTCR discovery platform. Unlike many clinical-stage TCR-T therapies that utilize affinity-enhanced TCRs, these candidates are natural, high-reactivity TCRs identified from Biocytogen's platform. They target specific epitopes of the Melanoma-associated antigen A4 (MAGE-A4), a cancer-testis antigen highly expressed in various solid tumors including melanoma and lung cancer, while remaining restricted in healthy tissues. Preclinical data presented at AACR 2026 demonstrated that these natural TCRs exhibit superior anti-tumor efficacy and specificity compared to affinity-enhanced counterparts in human tumor xenograft models.
