Overview

**MASCT-I + doxorubicin + ifosfamide** is an experimental combination therapy for advanced solid tumors or sarcomas. MASCT-I (Multiple Antigen Stimulating Cell Therapy-I) is a sequential cell-based immunotherapy involving dendritic cell vaccines loaded with multiple tumor antigens, followed by adoptive T-cell transfer generated from the patient's own blood. Doxorubicin and ifosfamide are standard cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agents commonly used in sarcoma treatment. This combination aims to maximize antitumor immune response (via MASCT-I) and direct cytotoxicity (via doxorubicin and ifosfamide). The combination is under clinical investigation; MASCT-I is developed and researched primarily in China, with clinical trials sponsored by regional hospitals and companies. MASCT-I’s immune mechanism involves both dendritic cell activation/antigen presentation and T-cell cytotoxicity, while doxorubicin and ifosfamide act through DNA intercalation and alkylation causing cell death[1][2][3].
