Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Maveropepimut-S + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy comprising the cancer vaccine maveropepimut-S (MVP-S, formerly DPX-Survivac) and the immune checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab (Keytruda). Maveropepimut-S is a peptide-based T-cell activating immunotherapy delivered by a lipid-based platform targeting survivin, a tumor-associated antigen overexpressed in multiple cancers. Pembrolizumab is a monoclonal antibody against programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) that relieves immune suppression and enhances antitumor T-cell activity. The combination is designed to synergistically stimulate immune responses against survivin-expressing tumors, supported by clinical data in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and platinum-resistant/recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). In these indications, the regimen is often administered with intermittent low-dose cyclophosphamide as an immune adjuvant, but core clinical evaluation is for the doublet.
