Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MAX-10181 + lenvatinib is an investigational combination therapy consisting of MAX-10181, an orally active small-molecule inhibitor of the programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) pathway, and lenvatinib, an approved multi-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Developed by Maxinovel Pharmaceuticals (Guangzhou Zaiji Medical Technology), MAX-10181 blocks the interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1 to restore T-cell-mediated antitumor immune responses. Lenvatinib, originally developed by Eisai, targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4), platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα), KIT, and RET. The combination is being evaluated in a Phase II clinical trial for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors, aiming to leverage the synergistic effects of anti-angiogenesis and immune checkpoint inhibition.
