Overview

MEDI-551 + MEDI0680 is a combination regimen of two monoclonal antibodies developed by MedImmune for use primarily in patients with relapsed or refractory aggressive B-cell lymphomas. **MEDI-551** (inebilizumab) is an afucosylated humanized IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody targeting CD19 on B cells, designed to induce antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) leading to B-cell depletion. **MEDI0680** (AMP-514) is a humanized IgG4 kappa monoclonal antibody that blocks the PD-1 immune checkpoint on T cells, enhancing anti-tumor immune responses through immunomodulation. This combination aims to link the direct cytotoxic effect of B-cell depletion by MEDI-551 with immune response augmentation from PD-1 inhibition by MEDI0680, potentially increasing anti-lymphoma activity and offering patients an alternative to chemotherapy[1][4][5][7].
