Melatonin + methylphenidate is a combination of two active ingredients used primarily in the management of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with associated sleep disturbances. Methylphenidate is a central nervous system stimulant that increases synaptic concentrations of dopamine and norepinephrine by inhibiting their reuptake, thereby improving attention and reducing hyperactivity and impulsivity. Melatonin is an endogenous hormone that regulates circadian rhythms and promotes sleep onset; as a supplement, it acts as an agonist at melatonin receptors to help normalize sleep patterns.
