Overview

Bexsero + Nimenrix is a vaccination regimen involving the co-administration of two distinct vaccines to provide comprehensive protection against invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, B, C, W-135, and Y. **Bexsero** (4CMenB) is a multicomponent, recombinant vaccine targeting serogroup B; it contains four primary antigens: factor H binding protein (fHbp), neisserial adhesin A (NadA), neisserial heparin-binding antigen (NHBA), and outer membrane vesicles (OMV) from the NZ98/254 strain. **Nimenrix** (MenACWY-TT) is a quadrivalent conjugate vaccine consisting of capsular polysaccharides from serogroups A, C, W-135, and Y, each individually conjugated to a tetanus toxoid carrier protein. While these are separate products, they are frequently administered together at different injection sites during the same clinical visit. Clinical trials have demonstrated that co-administration is safe and immunologically effective, maintaining the protective response for all five serogroups without significant interference between the components.
