Meningococcal polysaccharide groups A, C, W-135 and Y conjugate vaccine (marketed as MenQuadfi) is a quadrivalent conjugate vaccine developed by Sanofi Pasteur for the prevention of invasive meningococcal disease. It consists of purified capsular polysaccharides from *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, W-135, and Y, each individually conjugated to a tetanus toxoid protein carrier. This conjugation converts the T-cell-independent polysaccharide antigens into T-cell-dependent antigens, which enhances immunogenicity, particularly in young children, and induces long-term immunological memory. The vaccine was FDA-approved in April 2020 for use in individuals aged 6 weeks and older. Clinical evaluations, including Phase II and III studies, have demonstrated its safety and ability to induce robust bactericidal antibody responses against all four targeted serogroups.
