Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of methylphenidate (MPH), a central nervous system stimulant used primarily for treating ADHD, and cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. In vitro studies have shown that CBD can inhibit carboxylesterase 1 (CES1), the enzyme responsible for metabolizing methylphenidate, suggesting a potential pharmacokinetic interaction. Clinical studies have found this interaction to be weak and likely clinically insignificant at standard therapeutic doses.
