Overview

Microfat + platelet-rich plasma (MF-PRP) is a combination therapy that utilizes two autologous components: microfat (MF) derived from adipose tissue and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) obtained from blood. This biotherapy combines the structural support and regenerative properties of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) from microfat with the growth factors and anti-inflammatory properties of PRP. The treatment involves harvesting adipose tissue through minimally invasive liposuction, processing it to obtain microfat, and combining it with PRP prepared from the patient's blood. This combination is then injected into the target area, typically joints affected by osteoarthritis or other degenerative conditions. The therapy aims to reduce inflammation, provide cushioning, and potentially stimulate tissue regeneration.
