Overview

MIL60 + paclitaxel + carboplatin is a combination regimen used primarily in the first-line treatment of advanced or recurrent non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). **MIL60** is a biosimilar monoclonal antibody to bevacizumab, which targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) to inhibit angiogenesis, thereby reducing tumor blood supply. **Paclitaxel** is a microtubule-stabilizing small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that promotes cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase, and **carboplatin** is a DNA-crosslinking platinum-based chemotherapeutic that induces cell cycle arrest primarily in the S phase. The combination acts synergistically to induce cell-cycle arrest, DNA damage, and apoptosis in cancer cells[1][3]. Clinical studies have shown comparable efficacy and safety for MIL60 + paclitaxel + carboplatin versus traditional bevacizumab-containing regimens as first-line therapy in advanced non-squamous NSCLC[1].
