milnacipran + olanzapine

Milnacipran + olanzapine is a combination of two pharmaceutical drugs, milnacipran and olanzapine, used together primarily in the management of treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and delusional depression. Milnacipran is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), which increases levels of these neurotransmitters in the brain by inhibiting their reuptake into neurons. Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic that acts as an antagonist at multiple neurotransmitter receptors, including dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors. The combination has been studied for its potential to improve depressive symptoms when standard antidepressant therapy alone is insufficient[1][2][3].
