Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mirdametinib + vorinostat is an investigational oral combination therapy being studied primarily for the treatment of neurofibromatosis type 1-associated malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (NF1-MPNST). Mirdametinib is a potent, CNS-penetrant allosteric small molecule inhibitor of MEK1 and MEK2 in the MAPK pathway, which regulates cell growth and survival. Vorinostat is a histone deacetylase inhibitor that modulates gene expression by altering chromatin structure. The combination aims to synergistically inhibit tumor growth by targeting both signaling pathways and epigenetic regulation[1][2][3].
