Overview

**Mirvetuximab soravtansine + pembrolizumab** is a combination of an antibody-drug conjugate and a checkpoint inhibitor used in clinical trials primarily for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Mirvetuximab soravtansine targets folate receptor alpha (FRα) on tumor cells and delivers the cytotoxic agent DM4, a maytansinoid that disrupts microtubules, leading to cell death. Pembrolizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that blocks PD-1, enhancing T-cell immune responses against tumor cells. The combination aims to increase immunogenic cell death and augment antitumor activity, as supported by clinical trial data showing objective responses and a manageable safety profile in heavily pretreated patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer[1][4].
