MK-0893 + metformin

MK-0893 + metformin is a combination of the experimental drug MK-0893 and the approved diabetes medicine metformin. MK-0893 is a **small molecule glucagon receptor antagonist** developed by Merck, designed to lower blood glucose by blocking the glucagon receptor, thus reducing hepatic glucose output[1][3].
