Overview

MM-151 + seribantumab is a combination of two fully human monoclonal antibodies: MM-151, an oligoclonal mixture of three IgG1 antibodies targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and seribantumab (also known as MM-121), an IgG2 antibody targeting ErbB3 (HER3)[1][3][4]. MM-151 inhibits EGFR-mediated signaling, specifically designed to block acquired resistance mutations that develop after anti-EGFR therapies[3]. Seribantumab antagonizes ErbB3 by blocking heregulin (NRG1)-driven pro-survival signaling and PI3K-AKT pathway activation[1][4]. The combination is intended to enhance anti-tumor effects in cancers characterized by EGFR and ErbB3 signaling, and is being investigated primarily in advanced solid tumors, such as lung, breast, pancreatic, and colorectal cancers[1][3][7].
