MM09 + MG01 is a combination immunotherapy product being developed by Inmunotek for the treatment of patients with allergies to both house dust mites and grass pollens. [2, 6] The product is administered subcutaneously and consists of two main components: MM09 and MG01. MM09 is an allergen extract from a mixture of house dust mites (*Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus* and *Dermatophagoides farinae*) that has been modified into an allergoid-mannan conjugate. [3-12, 3-13] This modification involves polymerization with glutaraldehyde and adsorption onto aluminum hydroxide. [3-12, 3-13] MG01 is a purified allergenic extract from a mixture of grasses (*Phleum pratense, Holcus lanatus, Poa pratensis*, etc.), which is also polymerized and adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. [6] The combination is designed to induce immune tolerance to these allergens in individuals with allergic rhinitis/rhinoconjunctivitis and allergic asthma. [2] The mechanism involves the mannan component targeting C-type lectin receptors on dendritic cells, which promotes the development of tolerogenic dendritic cells and regulatory T-cells, ultimately reducing the allergic response. [7, 9] A Phase 3 clinical trial (NCT04874714) evaluating the combination was terminated. [4, 5]
