Overview
Modified platelet-rich plasma + somatotropin + Strophanthus kombe is an investigational regenerative biologic combination therapy. It is a key component of the Nanosurgery and Bioengineered Regenerative Treatment (NSBT) protocol developed by the Wasilczyk Medical Clinic in Poland. The combination consists of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) enriched with somatotropin (human growth hormone) and a botanical extract from *Strophanthus kombe*, which serves as a source of cardiac glycosides. This mixture is administered via ultrasound-guided injection to promote tissue repair and regeneration in musculoskeletal conditions such as lumbar disc herniation and hip osteoarthritis. The mechanism of action involves growth factor signaling from PRP and somatotropin, alongside potential cellular modulation by cardiac glycosides.
