MOMA Therapeutics' undisclosed ATPase program, developed in collaboration with Roche, focuses on the discovery and development of small molecule inhibitors targeting specific ATPase enzymes for oncology indications. ATPases are a diverse class of molecular machines that utilize the energy from ATP hydrolysis to perform mechanical work within the cell, playing critical roles in processes such as DNA repair, protein folding, and intracellular transport. MOMA leverages its proprietary KnowledgeBase of molecular machines to identify and drug these highly dynamic proteins. As of early 2024, these programs (identified as Target #1 and Target #3 in the company pipeline) are in the discovery phase, with specific targets and mechanisms of action remaining proprietary.
