Montelukast + albuterol is a combination of two pharmaceutical drugs used in the management of asthma and other respiratory conditions characterized by bronchospasm. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that works by blocking leukotriene D4 at the cysteinyl leukotriene receptor in the lungs, thereby reducing inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus production.
