Drug intelligence / Profile preview
mRNA-2752 + pembrolizumab is a combination therapy consisting of intratumoral injections of pembrolizumab (an immune checkpoint inhibitor) and mRNA-2752 (a lipid nanoparticle encoding three immunostimulatory proteins: OX40L, IL-23, and IL-36γ). This combination is designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by simultaneously blocking immune checkpoints and stimulating pro-inflammatory pathways within the tumor microenvironment. The therapy has shown promising results in high-risk ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), particularly in HER2-positive or hormone receptor-negative disease, with evidence of rapid tumor regression and immune infiltration.
