MT-303 + atezolizumab + bevacizumab is a combination therapy being developed by Myeloid Therapeutics for the treatment of advanced or metastatic GPC3-expressing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). MT-303 is a first-in-class, in vivo mRNA chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) therapy encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). It is designed to program myeloid cells to recognize and destroy Glypican-3 (GPC3)-expressing tumor cells following intravenous administration. Atezolizumab is a monoclonal antibody that acts as a PD-L1 inhibitor, while bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets VEGF to inhibit angiogenesis. This combination approach aims to leverage the direct tumor-targeting capabilities of in vivo CAR-programmed myeloid cells alongside established immune checkpoint inhibition and anti-angiogenic therapy to improve outcomes in HCC patients.
