MVT-1075 + MVT-5873 is an investigational combination therapy for CA19-9–positive malignancies, primarily pancreatic adenocarcinoma. MVT-1075 is a radioimmunotherapy agent consisting of a fully human monoclonal antibody (HuMab-5B1) radiolabeled with Lutetium-177, designed to deliver targeted radiation to tumor cells expressing CA19-9 via binding to the sialyl-Lewis a (sLea) antigen. MVT-5873 is a non-radiolabeled version of the HuMab-5B1 antibody, used as a blocking dose to enhance tumor specificity and reduce uptake in non-tumor tissues. Combined, this strategy aims to maximize the concentration of the radiolabeled antibody in tumor tissue while minimizing off-target effects, leveraging both immunotherapy and targeted radiotherapy. The development is focused on subjects with previously treated cancers, especially pancreatic, colon, and lung cancers that overexpress CA19-9[1][2][4][5].
