MVT-2163 + MVT-5873 is a combination used for immuno-PET imaging of tumors expressing carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), particularly in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and other CA19-9–positive malignancies. MVT-2163 is a zirconium-89 (^89Zr)-labeled version of the fully human monoclonal antibody HuMab-5B1, which binds with high specificity to CA19-9. MVT-5873 is a non-radiolabeled (cold) version of the same antibody used to reduce non-specific uptake in organs such as the liver, thereby improving tumor image quality. The combination is designed to optimize tumor imaging for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes. These products have demonstrated safety and promising imaging characteristics in Phase 1 trials, with MVT-5873 also being explored as a therapeutic antibody and in combination with chemotherapy.
