MYNFLU001 (Mynvax)

MYNFLU001 is an adjuvanted, quadrivalent recombinant subunit influenza vaccine developed by Mynvax, an Indian biotech startup incubated at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The vaccine is produced using a cell-derived platform (insect cells) and contains hemagglutinin (HA) derivatives from four WHO-recommended seasonal influenza strains, including two influenza A subtypes and two influenza B lineages. It is formulated with an adjuvant to enhance the immune response. MYNFLU001 is designed to elicit protective immunity by targeting the hemagglutinin surface protein, which is the primary antigen for influenza virus neutralization. It is currently in Phase I clinical development to evaluate its safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity in healthy adults.
