Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Myoviridae bacteriophage against Klebsiella pneumoniae (169.802 bp)** is an investigational lytic bacteriophage, also designated **Kle_F58/19**, developed by Technophage for targeted treatment of *Klebsiella pneumoniae* infections. The phage infects susceptible *K. pneumoniae* cells, replicates intracellularly, and lyses the bacterial host to release progeny phage. Kle_F58/19 is one of three *K. pneumoniae*-directed phages described for the TP-122B component of Technophage's TP-122 respiratory bacteriophage program; its public development context includes ventilator-associated pneumonia.
