An engineered oncolytic **Myxoma virus** that expresses both **mouse CD47 (Integrin-associated protein)** and **mouse interferon-gamma (IFN-γ)** as transgenes. Designed for intratumoral administration, the virus leverages CD47 to prolong the survival of infected tumor cells by providing a “do not eat me” signal to evade phagocytosis, allowing for continued viral replication and increased oncolysis. Simultaneously, local IFN-γ secretion enhances anti-tumor immune responses by activating T-cells and increasing antigen presentation within the tumor microenvironment. Preclinical studies in murine melanoma models show that MyxV_CD47/IFN-γ induces strong tumor regression, increases effector T-cell infiltration, reduces immunosuppressive regulatory T-cells (Tregs), and can synergize with anti-PD-L1 therapy. Developed for use in solid tumor indications, primarily melanoma. The virus is in preclinical development and has not yet entered human trials[1][4].
