Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination therapy consisting of three agents: - **N-803** is an interleukin-15 superagonist complex, also known as nogapendekin alfa inbakicept or ALT-803. It acts by stimulating CD8+ T cells and natural killer cells through beta gamma T-cell receptor binding, enhancing anti-tumor immune responses while avoiding regulatory T cell stimulation. Developed by ImmunityBio, it has improved pharmacokinetics and tissue persistence compared to native IL-15[1][2][6][8]. - **Docetaxel** is a small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules and inhibits cell division. - **Pembrolizumab** is a monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed death 1 receptor (PD‑1) on immune cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1/PD-L2 to enhance anti-tumor immunity. This combination aims to leverage both direct cytotoxic effects on tumor cells and enhanced immune-mediated tumor destruction. The primary indications under investigation are various cancers where immunotherapy plus chemotherapy may provide synergistic benefit.
