Drug intelligence / Profile preview
N-803 (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept-pmln, brand name Anktiva) is a novel immunotherapy classified as an IL‑15 receptor agonist. It stimulates the immune system by activating natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells, enhancing anti-tumor activity. Durvalumab (brand name Imfinzi) is a monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), blocking its interaction with PD‑1 and CD80 to promote immune-mediated tumor cell destruction. The combination of N‑803 and durvalumab is being investigated for synergistic effects in cancer immunotherapy, particularly after progression on checkpoint inhibitor therapy. Both drugs are biologics developed for oncology indications, including bladder cancer and non-small cell lung cancer[2][6][8].
