Drug intelligence / Profile preview
nab-paclitaxel + danburstotug complex AP160 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel) combined with a monoclonal antibody targeting PD-L1 (danburstotug, also known as STI-3031). Nab-paclitaxel is a protein-bound formulation of the taxane paclitaxel that acts as an antimicrotubule agent by stabilizing microtubules and inhibiting their normal dynamic reorganization during cell division. Danburstotug targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), potentially enhancing immune-mediated tumor cell killing through checkpoint inhibition and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. The combination aims to deliver both cytotoxic chemotherapy and immunotherapy in a single agent for improved antitumor activity. The primary indication under investigation has been advanced or metastatic solid tumors[6][8].
