Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nadunolimab + gemcitabine + cisplatin is a combination regimen for cancer therapy. **Nadunolimab** is a fully humanized monoclonal antibody that targets IL1RAP (IL-1 receptor accessory protein), blocking IL-1α/IL-1β signaling to disrupt tumor-promoting inflammation and enhance anti-tumor immune response. It induces antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis, particularly by engaging NK cells and macrophages[2][6][8]. **Gemcitabine** and **cisplatin** are standard cytotoxic chemotherapies; gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog that inhibits DNA synthesis, and cisplatin induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. This combination is principally investigated in advanced or metastatic cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and biliary tract cancer. Clinical trials report promising efficacy with manageable safety in heavily pre-treated and chemo-naive patients[1][3][5].
