This combination is being explored for synergistic anti-tumor effects by combining cytotoxic chemotherapy with immunotherapy. The primary indications under investigation are advanced gastrointestinal cancers such as colorectal or pancreatic cancer. The regimen leverages both direct tumor cell killing and immune system activation.
