Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NBS-001 is a polymer nanoparticle (PNP) formulation currently in preclinical development by Nouveau Biosciences for the treatment of aggressive T-cell lymphoma. The drug utilizes a proprietary PNP technology designed to selectively bioaccumulate within the tumor microenvironment (TME). This targeted delivery mechanism is intended to maximize local drug concentration while minimizing systemic exposure, thereby reducing off-target toxicities. Preclinical data from murine xenograft models of aggressive T-cell lymphoma have demonstrated that NBS-001 achieves approximately 30-fold higher drug exposure in tumors compared to the raw active pharmaceutical ingredient. These studies have shown statistically significant improvements in overall survival and a favorable safety profile compared to non-nanoparticle formulations.
