ND-12 + H-6

ND-12 + H-6 is an experimental combination microbial therapy developed by The Second Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. It comprises two separate capsule-based formulations, ND-12 and H-6, which are administered together orally. The therapy is being investigated for the treatment of adult chronic inflammatory diarrhea and ulcerative colitis, conditions characterized by intestinal dysbiosis and mucosal inflammation. By delivering a defined set of microbial components, ND-12 + H-6 aims to rebalance the gut microbiome and alleviate clinical symptoms. It is currently being evaluated in randomized, double-blind, controlled exploratory clinical trials to determine its safety and efficacy relative to standard treatments such as mesalazine.
