Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NDC-011 is a fixed-dose combination drug composed of nebivolol and donepezil, developed as a potential therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). It was discovered using DR.NOAH BIOTECH's proprietary AI-driven drug discovery platform, ARK, which analyzed ALS patient data and over 1.6 million possible drug combinations to identify candidates with the most significant preclinical efficacy. The mechanisms of action targeted by NDC-011 include anti-inflammatory effects, neuroprotection, promotion of neuronal differentiation, and protection of muscle cells from damage. Preclinical studies have shown that NDC-011 can delay motor function deterioration and prolong survival in ALS models. The drug has received orphan drug designation from the FDA and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials in the United States[1][2][3].
