NEO Agent (Ultrasound Nanobubbles) is a preclinical-stage therapeutic platform developed by NeoIndicate for the treatment of gynecological cancers, including ovarian and endometrial cancers. The technology utilizes nanobubbles functionalized to target proteolyzed Receptor Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase mu (PTPµ or PTPRM), a specific biomarker that accumulates in the tumor microenvironment but is absent in healthy tissues. These targeted nanobubbles accumulate at the tumor site, where an external ultrasound trigger is applied to induce the localized release of therapeutic payloads. This approach aims to enhance drug concentration within the tumor while minimizing systemic toxicity.
