Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**NEO-PTC-01 + PD-1 inhibitors** is an investigational combination therapy for advanced or metastatic melanoma. NEO-PTC-01 is an autologous, personalized T cell therapy manufactured ex vivo using patient-derived T cells and targets tumor-specific neoantigens. PD-1 inhibitors (such as pembrolizumab or nivolumab) are monoclonal antibodies that block programmed cell death protein 1, releasing the brakes on T cells and aiding immune attack on cancer. The combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by concurrently providing tumor-targeted T cells and reducing immune inhibition. This is being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials, especially in patients who did not respond or relapsed after PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor therapy[3][5][6].
