NEO212 + nivolumab

NEO212 + nivolumab is a combination investigational therapy pairing NEO212, an oral small molecule chemotherapy agent (a conjugate of temozolomide and perillyl alcohol), with nivolumab, a monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1. NEO212 is being developed to treat patients with solid tumors and uncontrolled brain metastases, while nivolumab is an established immunotherapy used in various cancers. The combination is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy, particularly in populations with uncontrolled brain metastases from select solid tumors. Nivolumab works by blocking the PD-1 receptor, enhancing T-cell mediated antitumor immune responses; NEO212 delivers cytotoxic DNA-damaging activity in tumor tissue.
