Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IN-A012 is a fixed-dose combination therapy consisting of an undisclosed netupitant metabolite and palonosetron. It is being developed by HK inno.N for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting. The drug acts as both a neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptor antagonist (via the netupitant metabolite) and a serotonin 3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist (via palonosetron), targeting two key pathways involved in emesis. As of early 2022, it had reached preregistration status in South Korea for intravenous use in adults, with completed phase I trials demonstrating bioequivalence to Akynzeo capsules[4][3][5].
