Overview

Neuradiab + bevacizumab is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer. Neuradiab is a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody (anti-tenascin) conjugated to radioactive iodine-131 that delivers targeted radiation to residual tumor cells after surgery with minimal impact on normal brain tissue. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that inhibits angiogenesis by binding and neutralizing vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby reducing blood vessel formation in tumors and inhibiting their growth. The combination aims to enhance tumor cell killing through both direct radiotherapy and inhibition of tumor vascularization[2][7].
